A TikTok video where a dad sings to soothe his baby has amused the internet — but it wasn’t their interaction that made the clip go viral, it was the song choice.

Recently, TikToker Peter Le shared with his followers the unusual trick he uses to get his baby girl to stop crying.

In a post that already has nearly 3 million views, Le uses a lullaby very different from what we’re used to hearing. He picks up his crying baby, holds her in his arms, rocks her gently and then sings “I’m ‘n Luv (wit a Stripper),” a hit by T-Pain from the early 2000s.

The melody works like magic — the little one stops crying instantly, leaving viewers in shock and wondering whether an entire generation — the Millennials, born between 1981 and 1996 — is truly ready for parenthood.

Le’s post received thousands of comments about the not-so-classic lullaby he chose to calm his daughter.

“In a few years, she’ll hear this song and have no idea why she suddenly feels so relaxed,” one person wrote.

“That calmed me too — and it was a little nostalgic! Someone pick me up and take me dancing,” joked another.
